I saw Dr. Palladino Monday morning. Breast exam went fine.
Told her about abdominal pain and cramping. She poked around a bit and I was in a lot of pain. Suggested CT scan with contrast to start and then possible colonoscopy.
She ordered it asap.
So...it's tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. at Exeter Hospital. Just took my first 1/2 bottle of Barium. It's nasty.
Hard core stress these days. Health....family....work. What is drama and what is worthy of pursuit? What do I let go of and what do I try to fix?
Went back to see Dr. Stenslie, a previous therapist of mine Monday night. I was a wreck and he was able to reign me back in and help me regroup.
That's it for now. Will let you know how tomorrow's test goes.

Denial....overconfident....false sense of security...
Hi people!!
I'm 3 months late seeing Dr. Palladino for my 6 month check up.
I am really tired of the appointments and the doctors and the tests. With each follow up that comes back normal I am less interested and concerned with returning again for the same old stuff.
A couple of weeks ago I started having cramping and pain in the vicinity where my ovaries used to be.
I will call soon to schedule.

Miss me??
I saw Dr. Hammond on the 8th of August. Exam went well and I will see him in another 6 months. He told me that my mammogram from February was a "Class 1" = Perfect. Wow!
Yesterday (8/11/11) was my 3 year anniversary as a Survivor. My co-workers gave me three bouquets of flowers and a cake. My co-workers (past and present) have been such a huge support system for me.
Seems like I should have so much more to say....life goes on.
Thank you for checking in :-)

Wow!!!
Yes, it's been some time since I blogged.
Yesterday was a major event day......last night after a full day with family and traveling up the Kancamagus Highway....Jake and I came home to relax. Then it happened.....I had an itch.
Weird huh? I mean....you're thinking "big whoop Doris"...well....the itch was under my left arm!!!!!!! I have had no sensation of any type in this area since my mastectomy!!!! I just can't believe it - sensation returning to the nerves??? It was the most excitingly annoying itch I've ever had!!!
Ok, I guess that's it for now. June 14th I have a check up with Dr. Hammond. I'll check in with an update.
Thanks for reading :)
